Counting the Omer.

Counting of the Omer is once again a time, when the bride is making herself ready to receive her wedding katubah. There is a difference in opinion as to when to start the counting, but as you will see from this short little teaching that the argument is nothing new. However, there are some very simple Torah principals that should help for you to make up your mind when you will start counting.
We hope that you enjoy this.

See the download file attached for the Sefirat Ha'Omer
With the mitzvah of counting the 49 days, known as Sefirat Ha'Omer, the Torah invites us on a journey into the human psyche, into the soul. There are seven basic emotions that make up the spectrum of human experience. At the root of all forms of enslavement, is a distortion of these emotions. Each of the seven weeks between Passover and Shavuot is dedicated to examining and refining one of them.

GATHERING THE LOST SHEEP OF ISRAEL
And they that shall be of thee shall build the old waste places: thou shalt raise up the foundations of many generations; and thou shalt be called, The repairer of the breach, The restorer of paths to dwell in.  Isaiah 58:12
